Complex Regional Pain Syndrome

Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a poorly understood condition where a person experiences persistent severe and debilitating pain.

Although most cases of CRPS are triggered by an injury, the resulting pain is much more severe and long-lasting than normal.

I have had CRPS since I was about 12, although I was in pain growing up, it did not present in it’s current form until i was in my mid-twenties. It’s a debilitating condition that makes living extremely difficult.

ADHD

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition that affects people’s behavior. People with ADHD can seem restless, may have trouble concentrating and may act on impulse.

I was diagnosed in the summer of 2022, although I was convinced I had it for a long time. Now taking meds and I can see/feel a world of difference! I am beginning to understand why I do certain things and how I can manage them better. One of the things I do is “hyper focus”, and it’s generally not been on the right things, especially for those around me. Taking stock, a little at a time.
